POTTED TULIPS (鉢植えのチューリップ)

These two tulip flowers bloomed on 1 March.  We planted the tulip bulbs, which we dug up last summer after blooming in the potager, in a pot last autumn.


（この二つのチューリップの花は3月1日に開花しました。昨年ポタジェで咲いたあと、夏に掘り上げた球根を秋に植木鉢に植えていました。）

We found that the tulips started to grow in the garden, and brought it inside of a window in order to make them bloom earlier.  The leaves grew 1cm a day, and earliest ones showed their flower buds at the end of February.


（チューリップの芽がでてきているのを庭で見つけ、早く咲かせてみようと思って窓の内側にもってきました。毎日1センチずつ葉は成長し、2月の終わりには早いものは蕾が見えてきました。）

On 1 March, two tulip flower had bloomed at last.  It is a month earlier than those planted in the garden.


（3月1日についに二つ花が咲きました。庭に植えているものより1か月早い開花です。）
