TRAINING GRAPE VINE (ポタジェのブドウの誘引)

On these trellises of the kitchen garden, grape vines had been trained.  It is a Japanese popular variety 'Kyoho', whose fruits are famous for its big size and splendid sweetness.

As some of the wood pieces of the trellises have got out of place, I fixed them with thin wires before pruning and training.

Some wood pieces were out of place.
At first, grape vines were unfixed from the trellis and I cut dead or unnecessary branches.  Then, I trained vines with appropriate intervals (20-30cm) between them with hemp‐palm rope.

Badgers and crows often came to eat grapes, and it is quite difficult to prevent them to come.  How will it be this year, and I wonder how much we could eat?
