BIRDS LOVE NECTAR (蜜が大好きな鳥)

Japanese white-eyes and brown-eared bulbuls come to the cherry to suck nectar every day.  They don't seasonally migrate but live all year round.

Petals of cherry fall just like snow flakes, when they suck nectar of the flowers.

Next rain and wind will make the flowers fall almost all together.  It is called 'a shower' of cherry blossoms.

  1. What pretty little birds! Do they pollinate the blossoms, like bees do?
