In the new garden, we planted two young pear trees yesterday. To pollinate each other for more fruits, we chose two different variety, that is, 'La France' and 'Le Lectier' both of which originally came from France and are commercially cultivated in Japan.
（新しい庭に昨日、洋ナシの苗木を2本植えました。実付きがよいように受粉するため、2つの品種を選んだのですが、一つはラ・フランス、もう一つはル・レクチェで、いずれもフランス原産の品種で日本で果実生産のため栽培されています。）
The new garden is behind the brick wall and it locates at the most southern part of our garden.
（新しい庭はレンガ塀の後ろにあり、庭のもっとも南にあります。）
Two pear trees were planted on the slope. It takes a long time to have fruits, and the new garden will evolve year by year.
（二つの洋ナシの苗木を斜面に植えました。実がつくのには長い年月が必要でしょうが、この新しい庭も年々進化していくことでしょう。）
