My wife and I started gardening in Fukuoka (Japan) in 2003. There was nothing but muddy clayey sloping land. At the beginning we made several structure such as steps and paths, and planted turf, fruit trees, roses, herbs etc.
In 2010, we visited several famous English gardens, including Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Mottisfont Abbey Garden and Hidcote Manor Garden. We were shocked by the glory of those gardens. Since then, we have been trying to make little but glorious gardens by ourselves.
WHITE FLOWERS AND RED LILY (白い花々と赤いユリ)
Double chameleon plant flowers with single one beside the compost bins
in the new garden.
And just front of the compost bin,
a gardenia plant has started to flower.
It has strong fruity sweet scent.
At the entrance of the new garden,
heavenly bamboo also bears white flowers.
Looking back to the main garden,
You can find red colour among green leaves.
They are dark red lily flowers.
We planted four kinds of lilies here,
and one of it started to flower.
