SOAKED ROSES AT THE END OF THE RAINY SEASON (梅雨末期の雨に濡れたバラ)

There have been awfully heavy rain in the central and western parts of Japan, 

and so many people died from it. 

It is so painful. 

中部から西日本にかけて恐ろしくひどい雨が降っていて

たくさんの人が亡くなっています.

本当に痛ましいことです.

Met Office says that the rainy season will end in a few days, 

and a very hot summer will come again.  

Roses in our garden have been soaked, however, they bear flowers 

despite of heavy rain. 

天気予報では梅雨も数日で明けるらしく、

猛暑の夏がまたやってくるようです.

庭のバラはずぶ濡れですが、ひどい雨にもかかわらず花を咲かせています.

In the central flower bed, 

Young Lycidas, The Shepherdess and Parisienne are flowering.  

中央花壇では

ヤング・リシダス、ザ・シェパーデス、パリジェンヌが咲いています.

Rosa 'Iceburg' is flowering beside the rose arbour in front of the bench. 

ベンチの前のバラのアーバー横ではアイスバーグが咲いています.

Rosa 'Angela' is in bloom on the rose arch at the bottom of the sleeper steps. 

枕木の階段の下のバラのアーチではアンジェラが咲いています.

are flowering beside the sleeper steps. 

スキャボロフェア、メアリーローズ、レオナルドダビンチが

枕木の階段脇で咲いています.

On the rose arch at the top of the sleeper steps, 

Rosa 'Pierre de Ronsard’ is in bloom.
