PINK SIRIS

Several years ago I found a small pink silk tree or pink siris (Albizia julibrissin) one meter high in our garden.  It seemed to have grown wildly from a seed.
Now it is 5 meter high, and flowers every summer for four years.

A pink siris is in front of the bench, and it provides dappled shade in the morning.

It's a short spell of temperate weather during the rainy season, when the pink siris shows fluffy flowers.

Fluffy pink flowerheads are so pretty on fine days, however, they often get wet and look miserable in the rainy season.

  1. That is such a French tree! They grew all over parts of France and looked so lovely.
