OPEN GARDEN THIS WEEKEND (週末はオープンガーデン)
We are holding an open garden tomorrow and the day after. The weather forecast predicts sunny weather on both days. We look forward to welcoming you with our Union Jack flying. You are most welcome to come along.

OPEN GARDEN WILL BE HELD AGAIN THIS YEAR (今年もオープンガーデン開催)
This year's Open Garden of our Petit English Garden will be held on the 9th (Sat) and 10th (Sun) of May. The garden is open from 10am to 4pm. The event will be held as part of the Reiwa Open Garden. Information is posted on here about the Reiwa Open Garden.
今年のうちのオープンガーデンは5月の9日（土）、10日（日）に開催予定です。開園時間は午前10時から午後4時までです。令和オープンガーデンのメンバーとして開催します。開催の詳細についてはこちらに掲載されています。

THANK YOU FOR VISITING OUR OPEN GARDEN 2025 (2025年オープンガーデンご来園に感謝)
Thank you for coming to our open garden last weekend. We had a lot of old friends and colleagues, as well as gardening enthusiasts and neighbours, and had a great time with them. And the hard work of the year was rewarded, giving us the energy to get going again next year.
先週末のオープンガーデンにご来園ありがとうございました。古くからの友人や職場の皆さん、そしてガーデニング愛好の皆さん、ご近所の皆さんなど、たくさん来ていただき、楽しく過ごすことができました。そして、一年の苦労も報われ、来年に向けてまた頑張る元気を頂きました。

PREPARING FOR STORM THE DAY BEFORE OPEN GARDENS
Strong wind and rain were forecast the day before the open garden, so measures were taken to prevent the plants from falling over in the potager.
The insect netting on the cabbage raised beds was removed and only the framework was left. Potatoes also seemed to be falling over and were propped up. The flax and chamomile raised beds were propped up around them and enclosed with string.
A high wind warning is also forecast, so we just hope the damage is minimal.
オープンガーデンの前日に強い風雨が予想されていて、ポタジェで植物が倒れないように対策をしました。
キャベツのレイズドベッドの虫よけ網は撤去してフレームの骨組みだけにしました。ジャガイモも倒れそうで、支柱をしました。亜麻やカモミールのレイズドベッドは周囲に支柱を立てて、ひもで囲いました。
強風警報も出そうな予報なので、被害が最小限で済むことを願うばかりです。

OPEN GARDEN NOTICE FOR 2025 (令和7年オープンガーデンのお知らせ）
The 2025 Open Garden will be held on Saturday 10 and Sunday 11 May. More information can be found on the Reiwa Open Garden website.

TODAY WAS THE FIRST DAY OF OUR OPEN GARDEN (今日はオープンガーデン一日目でした)
Today was the first day of the open garden. The weather was pleasant, sunny and cloudy with light winds. This year we were able to welcome many visitors to the garden, although we had to hold back on publicity in advance. Thank you very much for coming out.
Unfortunately, rain is forecast for tomorrow, but we hope you will visit the garden again.
今日はオープンガーデンの一日目でした。晴れのち曇りで風も弱く、過ごしやすい天気でした。今年は事前の広報活動も控え気味でしたが、多くの来園者をお迎えできました。お出でいただいて本当にありがとうございました。
明日は残念ながら雨の予報ですが、またの機会に是非ご来園下さい。
