FOXGLOVE IS BLOOMING IN THE POTAGER (ジギタリスがポタジェで咲いてます)

Foxglove has started to flower in the potager with some roses.
In raised beds, flowers and vegetables are growing well.
Potato is growing well, too, and bears some flowersin the net frame.
We are going to harvest it in a month.

In the morning 

 At noon

ジギタリスがポタジェで咲き始め、少しバラも咲いています.
レイズドベッドでは野菜はお花が良く育っていて、
ネットフレームではジャガイモが花を咲かせています.
ジャガイモはあと１か月で収穫です.

POTAGER THIS MORNING (今朝のポタジェ)

In the kitchen garden,
courgette and cucumber grow their large leaves and bear fruits.
Large yellow flowers of courgette are so beautiful.
Dahlia in front of the shed is in bloom.

ポタジェではズッキーニとキュウリが大きな葉を伸ばし、実をつけています.
ズッキーニの大きな黄色の花がきれいです.
シェッドの前ではダリアも咲いています.

My wife found a pair of  Anoplophora malasiaca on a standard rose
and I caught them. 

This is the most dreadful pest of roses as I wrote in a post two years ago.
We always go round the garden to find pests carefully on roses.

家内がゴマダラカミキリのつがいをスタンダードバラで見つけ、捕まえました.

これはバラの最悪の害虫で、2年前の投稿に書いています.
いつもバラの害虫に注意して庭を回ります.

PLANTING CUCUMBER AND COURGETTE AFTER HARVESTING POTATOES (ジャガイモ収穫してキュウリとズッキーニ植え付け)

We harvested potatoes in our kitchen garden yesterday morning.

昨日の朝、ポタジェでジャガイモを収穫しました.

We planned to plant young plants of cucumber and courgette, but

just after harvesting potatoes, it started a heavy rain fall. 

So, we planted them this morning. 

キュウリとズッキーニを植えようと思っていたのですが

ジャガイモを収穫した直後にひどい雨が降り出してしまい

今朝、植え付けました

PLANTING AND SUPPORTING SUMMER VEGETABLES (夏野菜の植え付けと棚作り)

This weekend we planted tomato seedlings of dwarf tomato 'Pinnochio'

in raised beds of the potager. 

この週末、矮性トマトのピノキオの苗をポタジェのレイズドベッドに植えつけました.

In the new garden, I made a supporting shelf for cucumbers by using bamboo. 

Leaves of cucumber will give hellebore a comfortable shade.

新しい庭では竹を使ってキュウリを支える棚をつくりました.

キュウリの葉がクリスマスローズに心地よい日陰を提供してくれるでしょう.

The tomato seedlings had been planted in a pot with strawberry and marguerite

 a few weeks ago, and now they bear fruits which are not ripen yet. 

トマト苗は数週間前にイチゴとマーガレットと一緒にポットに植えていて、

すでに実をつけていますが、まだ熟してはいません. 

At that time too seedlings were planted in another raised bed in the potager, 

and they've grown well (They look small but it is because they are dwarf  varitey). 

その際にポタジェのレイズドベッドにも苗を2本植えていて、

よく育っています（小さく見えますがそれはわい性の品種だからです）.

It was hot today, and plants in the potager enjoyed sunshine.  

今日は暑くて、ポタジェの植物は日光を楽しんでいます.

We transplanted a young plant of rhubarb in a pot to the border in the potager. 

ルバーブの若い苗は鉢からポタジェのボーダーに移植しました.

TRULY GRATEFUL TO ALL VISITORS FOR GENEROSITY (来園の皆様に感謝)

So many visitors had come and we are truly grateful to them
for their generous charity.
It rained heavily today, and we were really lucky to have got nice weather
during open garden.
Today I post a number of photos last weekend.
