ROSES AND PUMPKINS IN HUIS TEN BOSCH (ハウステンボスの秋バラとカボチャ)
Last week we visited Huis Ten Bosch. There were many autumn roses in the rose garden. And there were still lingering memories of Halloween, with an unbelievable number of pumpkin sculptures on display.
先週ハウステンボスに行きました。バラ園では秋のバラが沢山さいていました。そして半端ない数のカボチャのオブジェが一緒に飾られて、ハロウィンの余韻がまだ残っていました。

THREE-STOREY CAROUSEL IN HUIS TEN BOSCH (ハウステンボスの三階建てメリーゴーランド)
We took our first ride on the three-storey merry-go-round, which was built in Huis Ten Bosch in December 2022.
There was a queue for each floor, the first floor could be ridden quickly, but the third floor had a lot of queuing.
As we climbed the stairs, we could see better around us and took a ride on a horse-drawn carriage. It was like a dream as it slowly started to go round.
2022年12月にハウステンボスにできた三階建てのメリーゴーランドに初めて乗ってみました。
それぞれの階毎に行列があり、1階はすぐ乗れますが、3階はたくさんの行列でした。
階段を上っていくと周りが良く見えるようになり、馬車に乗りました。ゆっくりと回りだすと、夢のような時間でした。

HUIS TEN BOSCH FILLED WITH TULIPS (チューリップがいっぱいのハウステンボス)
We visited Huis Ten Bosch in spring. It was a cold day with a strong cold wind, although the weather was fine.
The park is full of tulips. The flowers are in full bloom in a variety of vivid colours. The yellow is particularly bright and cheerful.
Walking through the park full of tulips, I felt that spring was in full swing. The roses are also starting to bud and I am looking forward to seeing them in May.
春のハウステンボスを訪ねてみました。良く晴れましたが、冷たい風が強く吹く寒い日でした。
園内はチューリップで一杯です。色とりどりの花が鮮やかな色で咲いています。特に黄色は目の覚めるような鮮やかさで元気のでる色です。
チューリップがいっぱいの園内を歩きながら春本番を感じました。バラも芽吹き始めていて、5月のバラも楽しみです。

LATE AUTUMN ROSES IN HUIS TEN BOSCH (ハウステンボス 晩秋のバラ)
The other day we visited Huis Ten Bosch in Nagasaki.
There are rose gardens on both sides in front of the Palace Huis Ten Bosch at the far end. One side is designed around a round pond, with lots of bush roses and climbing roses growing on arches on all four sides.
There were quite a few autumn roses in bloom.
先日、長崎のハウステンボスに行きました.
一番奥にあるパレスハウステンボスの手前の両側にバラ園があります. 片方は丸い池を中心としたデザインで、たくさんの木立バラと、四方のアーチにつるバラが育っています.
秋バラが結構咲いていました.
The other rose garden is based on a rectangular design with a row of square arches, with a standard rose in the centre. Here there is a collection of white roses.
もう一方のバラ園は四角形を基調にして、四角いアーチが並ぶデザインで、中央にはスタンダードバラがあります. ここには白いバラが集められています.
