The chaste tree in the blue border flower bed is all blooming with fresh blue-purple flowers. Many insects, including butterflies and bees, come to the garden for nectar. The hawk moth also comes to the garden at this time of year, hovering and sucking nectar. The flowers continue to bloom until around November.
青のボーダー花壇のセイヨウニンジンボクが一斉に爽やかな青紫の花を咲かせています。蝶やミツバチなどたくさんの昆虫が蜜を求めてやってきます。スズメガもこの時期、庭にやってきて、ホバリングしながら蜜を吸います。11月ごろまで花は続きます。

The chaste trees have started to bloom. Various insects, such as swallowtail butterflies and hawk moths, are flying into the garden and feeding on the nectar. It has been raining heavily, but during the sunny days of the rainy season, the insects come to the garden and make it a little more lively.
セイヨウニンジンボクが咲き始めました. アゲハチョウやスズメガなどいろんな虫たちが庭に飛んできて蜜を吸っています. 大雨が降ったりしていますが、梅雨の晴れ間は虫たちが庭にきて少しにぎやかです.

Anise-scented sage (Salvia guaranitica) is a perennial with its beautiful blue flowers and bright green leaves. It is a vigorous plant that can grow up to 3 metres in search of light. It spreads easily by underground stems and in this blue flower bed it sometimes overgrows and covers the leaves of the agapanthus, so the stems are sometimes pulled out. A species of hawk moth was flitting from flower to flower on this day in search of nectar on these beautiful flowers. It did not perch on the flower but hovered and sucked the nectar.
メドーセージ（サルビアガラニチカ）はその美しいブルーの花と明るい緑色の葉が特徴の多年草です. 明かるい所を求めて３メートルぐらいに伸びることもあり、なかなか元気旺盛な植物です. 地下茎で広がりやすく、この青の花壇では茂りすぎてアガパンサスの葉を覆うこともあって、時々茎を抜いています. 美しい花に蜜を求めて、この日はスズメガの一種が花から花へと飛び回っていました.花に止まらずにホバリングしながら蜜を吸っていました.

Bombus ardens (little yellow bumblebee) and Macroglossum pyrrhosticta (hawk moth) were sucking nectar of agapanthus flowers.
After the agapanthus blooms, it's the turn of the chaste tree to bloom in July.
