GARDEN VISIT: 'YOOM-TEI' (お庭訪問：遊夢庭)
We visited a private garden 'Yoom-tei' near the Ariake Sea today.
This garden has been open to the public for 25 years, and is one of the member of Reiwa Open Garden, which our garden belongs to.
The garden is a fairy tale world with a rural backdrop.
It was a beautiful garden in a very peaceful setting, and it was really relaxing.
We really appreciate Ms. Narikiyo, the owner and the chief gardener.
今日は有明海の近くの個人のガーデン「遊夢庭（ゆうむてい）」にお邪魔しました.
この庭は25年から一般公開されていて、うちの庭も所属する令和オープンガーデンのメンバーです.
このお庭は田園風景を背景にした童話の世界です.
ほんとうにのどかな風景のなかの美しい庭に、本当に癒されました.

COOL BUTTERFLIES SIP NECTAR OF SWEET-SCENTED FLOWERS (素敵な蝶が甘い香りの花の蜜を吸っています)
Pittosporum tobira is a shrub that bears sweet-scented flowers in spring.
The shrub in the bluebell garden has died, but another one that has been growing at the upper entrance to the garden has begun to bloom this year.
Common Bluebottle is a cool butterfly with blue stripes on a black background, and several butterflies are sucking the nectar from the flowers.
トベラは甘い香りのする花をつける低木です.
ブルーベルの庭の木は枯れましたが、庭の上の入り口には別の木が育ってきていて、今年花を咲かせ始めました.
アオスジアゲハは黒地に青いストライプのある素敵な蝶で、何匹も来て花から蜜を吸っています.
Today is Showa Day, the old Emperor's birthday and a national holiday. I wonder if there is still a festival at Suitengu Shrine.

★FOXGLOVE SHINING IN OUR GARDEN (庭で輝くジギタリス)
Early in the morning it was sunny, but it gradually became cloudy. The foxgloves are starting to bloom all together again this year. In the main garden, there are only spilled seeds blooming in a strawberry pot, but in the potager, there are many blooms as usual.
The flowers range in color from white to pale pink to deep pink. The garden will be brightly colored from now until late May.
早朝はいい天気でしたが、曇ってきました. ジギタリスは今年も一斉に咲き始めています. メインガーデンではイチゴの鉢にこぼれ種で咲いているだけですが、ポタジェでは例年通りたくさんの花が咲いています.
花の色は白から淡いピンク、そして濃いピンクまでいろいろです. これから五月にかけて庭を鮮やかに彩ります.
The weather isn't always good. But even when the weather gets bad, there will always be another beautiful day.
I am filled with a deep sense of gratitude to everything.

POPPY HAS STARTED TO FLOWER (ポピーが咲き始めました)
Corn poppies come in a variety of colors, including bright red, and are a wonderful accent flower for the garden. They are mainly grown in the potager, but it also grows outside in the garden and sometimes from spilled seeds in the main garden. I especially love the deep red flowers. We also have double poppies growing this year.
ヒナゲシは真っ赤な色を含め、いろいろな色があり、庭のアクセントになる素晴らしい花です. 主にポタジェで育てていますが、庭の外やメインガーデンでも時々こぼれ種から育ってきます. 私は特に深紅の花が好きです. 今年は八重のポピーも育っています.
It's a pity that the strong easterly winds are shaking the fragile flowers so much, but they are doing their best to bloom.
The weather has been beautiful for a while now. I wonder what the weather will be like tomorrow.
強い東風にか弱い花が大きく揺さぶられて可哀想ですが、頑張って咲いています.
このところ、いい天気が続いていますが、明日はどんな天気かな・・

CLEMATIS 'SHISHINDEN' (クレマチス紫宸殿)
Clematis 'Shi-shin-den' has produced many beautiful blue flowers. The young flowers are purplish-blue and gradually become more and more light blue. I trained it to the iron arch of the Rosa 'Pierre de Ronsard'.
クレマチス紫宸殿が美しいブルーの花をたくさんつけてきました. 若い花は紫がかった青で、次第に水色に近くなっていきます. バラのピエールドゥロンサールのアーチに一緒に誘引しています.

SPRING OF BLUEBELL GARDEN IS OVER (ブルーベルの庭の春も終わり)
The bluebells in our bluebell garden are almost done flowering, and Allium triquetrum has fallen over and started to set seeds, so I picked the flowers. This is the end of spring in the bluebell garden, which started with the daffodils.
ブルーベルの庭のブルーベルの花も終わりかけ、ミツカドネギも倒れて種をつけ始めたので、花を摘んでしまいました. これでラッパ水仙から始まったブルーベルの庭の春も終わりです.
