The muscari in the planter has beautiful blue flowers. Next to it, the fern-leaf lavender, which has been in bloom all winter, is in its last bloom.
Next to it, a living wreath of violas is blooming beautifully. Blue and yellow violas. One of my favourite colour combinations.

February is the time of the year when flowers are scarce and the central flowerbed is a little bare, but the blue colour of the hyacinths and violas is very beautiful.
The hyacinths were bought as sprouting bulbs, put in a plastic basket and planted in the central flower bed. In the summer and autumn they completely lose their leaves and it is easy to lose track of where I have planted them, so I planted them in a basket in the flower bed. I have also planted geraniums in terracotta pots and buried them.
The violas, which will be in bloom until May, are planted in the borders near the garden room. I hope they will grow up to the time of the open garden.
2月は花の少ない季節で、中央花壇もさみしいですが、ヒアシンスとビオラの青い色がとても綺麗です.
ヒアシンスは芽がでている球根を買って、プラスチックのカゴに入れて中央花壇に植え付けました. 夏から秋は完全に葉がなくなるので、どこに植えたか行方不明になってしまうので、カゴに入れた状態で花壇に植えました. 他に、ゲラニウムなども素焼きの鉢に植えた状態で埋め込んでいます.
5月ごろまで咲いてくれるビオラも、花壇のいちばんガーデンルーム寄りに苗を植えました. オープンガーデンの頃には大きく育っていると思います.

In the garden of the Bluebell, I have planted a white flower bed with snowdrops and white muscari that bloom in spring, and now I have planted a white viola. We hope they will bloom until May, when we open the garden to the public.
The snowdrops are still blooming beautifully.
ブルーベルの庭に作った白い花を育てる花壇には、先日紹介したスノードロップや春に咲く白いムスカリを植えていますが、今度は白いビオラの苗を植え付けました. 庭を公開する五月まで咲いてくれていると思います.

Today I'd like to introduce you to the blue flowers in our garden. Even now, in March, there are a dozen of varieties of blue flowers in bloom. Some are annuals, some are perennials, some are bulbs.

The peony bed is now in full bloom with the bright flowers of violas. Orange and yellow are energizing colors. It's a mainstay in winter and early spring.
