It was a very hot and humid day today.
The lowest temperature was 28 and the highest 33 degrees Celsius.
There were both a burning sun and a heavy shower.

In the morning, we planted seedlings
of Mirabilis jalapa (yellow and white flower varieties)
among wild plants (such as Leopard plant) and hydrangea, in the new garden.

新しい庭の野生植物（ツワブキなど）やアジサイなどの間に植えつけました.
Trumpet vine continues to bear orange flowers in the main garden.

In the afternoon, we went to a cinema to watch the movie
'Dare to be wild' (Its Japanese title is 'Flower Show').
The film follows Mary Reynolds’ quest to win the gold medal
at 2002’s RHS Chelsea Flower Show.
She designed wild plant garden, which was quite unique in the Show at that time.
午後は映画館に「フラワーショー」を見に行きました.
この映画はメアリー・レイノルズが2002年のチェルシー・フラワーショーで
ゴールドメダルを目指した逸話を映画化しています.
彼女はとても当時はユニークだった野生植物の庭をデザインしました.
