AFTER THE STORM (野分のあと)

We looked around our garden this morning and we are relieved to know that there was little damage of the typhoon in our garden.  Fortunately, it brew a gale (up to 80 mph) from the north and our garden, facing south-east, escaped damage. There was a five‐inch fall of rain.

The main garden viewed from a first-floor window.

Herbs and peonies remained intact in the beds.

Climbing roses on the brick wall are also undamaged.

Japanese anemones have been brew down.

The kitchen garden has remained intact.
