At the southern rim of the new garden, a native clematis (Clematis terniflora) is now in bloom on bushes. It is a couple of weeks earlier than last year.

Young chameleon plants (Houttuynia cordata) in the new garden are growing well despite very sunny, hot and dry condition. We mulched them with leaf mold.
（ドクダミの苗は、日差しの強い暑くて乾いたところでも育っています。腐葉土でマルチングをしています。）
Hellebores transplanted in a part shade under the maple tree survive well, however, some of those transplanted in the sun had wilted due to the intense sunlight. So I covered them with sunshade net, and they are getting better now.
（モミジの木の下の半日陰に植え替えたクリスマスローズはよく生着していますが、日なたに植えた分は強い日差しのせいで少し萎れてきていました。そこで、遮光ネットで覆ってやったら、今はよくなっています。）
We are planning to plant some ground-cover plants in the sun.
（日なたには何か別のグランドカバープランツを植えようかと思っています。）
Today's rose in my office is Hybrid Tea Rosa 'Apolｌo'.
