Japanese anemone (syumei-giku 秋明菊) has started to bloom this week. It is four-feet tall and was supported by using Y-shape pruned branches when a typhoon went near by last week. In the morning sunshine, the flowers are shining beautifully.
There are other flowers blooming in our garden. Salvia 'Purple Majesty' became too high and has fallen by strong wind. Weeping lantana didn't flower in this summer probably because of a unseasonable lack of sunshine, however, it has now started flowering.
