After the
red lycoris, white lycoris is now full-bloomed in our garden as well as in the neighbourhood.
It flowers in September and only after the flowers have withered in a week or two, the narrow strap-like basal leaves appear.
The leaves are beautiful in winter when green leaves become less in the garden, and the leaves themselves deteriorate in late Spring.

White lycoris is flowering here and there beside a path where we take a walk every morning.
In winter, its leaves show beautiful shape and green color. In spring, it gives way to peony leaves.

That plant looks lovely and it's always nice to have the good leaf shape and colour to continue on during the cold winter months.
