My wife and I started gardening in Fukuoka (Japan) in 2003. There was nothing but muddy clayey sloping land. At the beginning we made several structure such as steps and paths, and planted turf, fruit trees, roses, herbs etc.
In 2010, we visited several famous English gardens, including Sissinghurst Castle Garden, Mottisfont Abbey Garden and Hidcote Manor Garden. We were shocked by the glory of those gardens. Since then, we have been trying to make little but glorious gardens by ourselves.
BRITISH FAIR 2015 IN FUKUOKA (英国フェア)
We went to the British Fair 2015 held at Hakata Hankyu department store in Fukuoka.
It was rainy with a strong south wind, and it was not crowded.
So, we enjoyed shopping leisurely.
First we looked around for antique porcelain ware, and then for botanical art.
Some handcraft artists had come and demonstrated how to make.
Accessory making (ORTAK)
My wife took an interest in silver accessories, and she bought a couple of earrings.
One of them was a sitting pixie on a crescent moon, and other was a shooting star that says 'wishes come true'.
We tasted many kinds of tea with some candies.
We watched demonstration sale of fish and tips.
At the end, we bought take-out food; cottage pies and fish cakes cooked
