Yesterday we harvested Jerusalem artichoke in our garden
for the first time this season.
Several tubers were planted in two felt containers in March,
they bore yellow flowers in autumn, and their leaves died now.
So, we can dig tubers as much as we need.

昨日、この秋初めてエルサレムアーティチョーク(キクイモ)を収穫しました.
三月に何個か種イモをフェルトのコンテナに植え付けて、
秋には黄色い花が咲き、
今は葉が枯れています.
必要なだけ掘り出すことができるようになりました.
We pulled out one plant and harvested a dozen of tubers.
一株引き抜いて10個ほど収穫
We sliced tubers and fried them.
イモをスライスして油で揚げました.
It tasted good, however, we ate a little because eating too much sometimes causes diarrhea.
とても美味しいんですけど、食べ過ぎると下痢をすることがあるので少しにしました.
