PRUNING ECHIUM AND CATMINT IN THE BORDER (ボーダー花壇のエキウムとキャットミントの剪定)

Echium candicans in the border is at its fourth year, 

and it has grown so high.  

There would be a risk to die if it is heavily pruned, 

however, it has grown too high.  

 ボーダー花壇のエキウム カンディカンスは4年目を迎えていて

大きく育っています.

強剪定すると枯れる危険もありますが、

ちょっと大きくなりすぎ. 

So I decided to do a heavy pruning. 

At first, I cut seedheads to collect seeds. 

 ということで、強剪定することに

まず、種を採るために花柄を切りました. 

And then, I pruned most of the shoots. 

My wife pruned catmint in front of the echium. 

She wears an air-conditioned jacket,
which cools her body by circulating air under the jacket with fans. 

 そして大半の枝をきってしまいました.

家内はその手間にあるキャットミントを剪定です.

家内は空調服を着ています.
ファンでジャケットの下に空気を循環させています.

I left a few shoots. 

There are a seedling of echium just behind this pruned plant. 

This seedling will grow well because now it has good sunshine. 

 枝葉数本残しただけです.

剪定したエキウムのすぐ向こうには実生苗が育っています. 

日当たりが良くなってよく育ちそうです.

There still flowers chaste tree and hemerocallis well 

on the right side of the border. 

ボーダーの右側はまだセイヨウニンジンボクやヘメロカリスなどでにぎやかです.
