Yesterday was the first day of autumn in the traditional Japanese calendar.
A month has passed since the rainy season was over,
and very hot and dry days are continuing.
I set a digital thermometer in the shade of the gazebo
in the main garden in January,
and it's been sending me data of the temperature every 10 minutes.
昨日は暦の上では立秋、秋の最初の日でした.
梅雨明けから一か月経過し、ずっと暑くて雨の降らない日が続いています.
一月に庭のガゼボの日陰にデジタルの温度計を設置し、
それから10分毎のデータを送信してきます.
As you can see in a graph below,
maximum temperature was over 35C and minimum one was over 25C
in most of these days.
But, it was a bit cooler than usual in yesterday afternoon
and it was just below 25C this morning.
This might be a sign of the beginning of autumn, I hope.

上のグラフをみればわかると思いますが、
ほとんどの日で最高気温35度以上で、
最低気温も最近2週間ぐらいは25度以上でした.
しかし、昨日の午後はちょっと涼しい感じで、
今朝も25度をちょっと下回りました.
これが秋の始まりの兆しだといいなと思っています.
