This morning we planted young chameleon plants (Houttuynia cordata) in the new garden. This plant is native in our are and grows at the side of the road of moist shady places. It is said that this plant can become invasive in gardens and difficult to eradicate, therefore we must take care not to grow too much. However, I think it is suitable for ground covering in a shady place.
（今朝、新しい庭にドクダミを植えました。地元の道路沿いなど湿った日陰のところに自生しています。庭に植えると広がりすぎて根絶するのがむずかしいと言われていますから、茂りすぎないように注意しなくてはいけません。しかし、日陰のところでのグランドカバーには向いていると思います。）
