Akebia vine fruits have changed their colour rapidly
since the beginning of October, some of which have split open.
I pollinated their flowers in spring.
It may be the reason of large yield this year.

The trug is full of fruits.
They include three species/varieties;
A wild species of Akebia trifoliata (mixture of red and purple),
A garden species of Akebia trifoliata (pure purple)
and Akebia quinata (brown).
They look so beautiful, and taste sweeeet.
