In spite of continuing rain and insufficient sunshine, tomatoes and cucumbers are growing and we are harvesting them, not so much but almost every day. Cucumbers are growing on a arch made of reinforcing rods and tomatoes are under the arch. We planted two varieties of mini-tomato; oblong red 'Aiko' and sphelical yellow 'Chika'.
Another typhoon is coming toward us this weekend, and we are afraid the tomatoes and cucumbers might be blown by its strong wind from the front of the potager.

That harvest looks like a feast! My tomatoes are a long way off harvesting so I am very envious.
ReplyDeleteI wish your tomatoes grow well early:-)
DeleteI hope the typhoon passes with little or no damage!
ReplyDeleteFortunately, the typhoon had weakened, and we had no damage at all.
