This week, we have been picking up chestnuts on the road in our neighbourhood
during our daily walk in the morning.
Chestnuts fell down on the road, and some of them were eaten
by some wild animals (wild boars or badgers?),
and we got the rest.

My wife made sweet-boiled chestnuts,
and today I enjoyed them with ice cream and bean jam.
It tasted very good.
There's something extra scrummy about foraged food, isn't there!
ReplyDeleteOh yes, we enjoy looking for chestnuts this time every year.
