CHERRY BLOSSOM FALLING LIKE A SNOW (山桜の花吹雪)

Cherry blossom is in full bloom and started to fall.
We enjoyed viewing it
from an arbour seat in the bluebell garden.

  桜は満開で、散り始めています.
ブルーベルの庭にある屋根つきベンチから花見を楽しみました.


From the arbour seat, we look
at the Mt. Kaya (Itoshima Fuji) in front of it.
A number of cherry trees are flowering on the side of the mountain.

 屋根つきベンチからは真正面に可也山（糸島富士）が見えます.
たくさんの桜の木が山腹で花を咲かせています.


Flowers has started to fall and leaves are growing.

 花は散りはじめ、葉が茂ってきています.

POTTED YOUNG PLANTS FOR CHARITY BAZAAR OF OPEN GARDEN (チャリティーバザーのためのポット苗)

We have been preparing some young plants for the charity bazaar
of our Opening Garden in May (11th & 12th).  

I found several young plants of Arisaema ringens
in the forest floor beside of our garden. 

It has ornamental leaves and a flower.
I potted four plants in a plastic pot,
and they'll appear at the charity bazaar. 

我が家の五月のオープンガーデンのときにチャリティーバザーに出す苗を
ずっと準備してきました.
庭に隣接する林で小さなムサシアブミを見つけました.
素晴らしい葉と花です.
ビニールポットに植えつけて、
チャリティーバザーに出す予定です.

AT THE WINDOW OF THE GAZEBO (ガゼボの窓から)

French lavender at the Gothic window of the gazebo has been flowering since mid-winter, and it is still beautiful.
On the other side of gazebo, an angel is sleeping in full-bloom flowers of cherry. 
Petals of cherry fell to the potager, and they look stunning. 

フレンチラベンダーはガゼボのゴシック窓のところで真冬から咲いてきていて、
まだまだきれいです.
反対側では、天使が満開の桜の中で居眠りしています.
桜の下のポタジェには散った花びらがきれいです.

PRUNING HARDENBERGIA (ハーデンベルギアの剪定)

Flowers of Hardenbergia had almost over,
and I pruned its vines yesterday.
Most of thin vines were removed because so many vines were intertwined.
Soon it buds new leaves and grows during this season,
and will flower next winter.  

Vines are trained to wire-mesh

ハーデンベルギアの花がほとんど終わったので
昨日ツルを剪定しました.
沢山のツルが絡み合っていたので、細いツルはほとんど取り除きました.
間もなく新しい葉が芽吹いて、夏の間に茂って
冬にはまた花を咲かせるでしょう.

POTAGER AT THE END OF MARCH (三月下旬のポタジェ)

Many signs of spring can be found in the potager.
Flowers such as California poppy and silence have started to bloom,
asparagus has started to grow
and new leaves of rose, foxglove and corn poppy are growing well.
Over the potager, cherry is almost in full bloom. 

ポタジェでは春の兆しがたくさん見られます.
ハナビシソウやフクロナデシコが咲き始め、
アスパラガスが伸びてきて、
バラやジギタリス、ヒナゲシの葉が茂ってきています.
ポタジェの上ではヤマザクラがほとんど満開です.

ACACIA IN A POT IS FLOWERING (鉢植えのミモザの花)

I love little yellow pompons of Acacia. 
It grows so large that we planted it in a pot. 
It regrows even if it is prune short.
Its colour brighten the garden so much. 

ミモザの小さな黄色いポンポン咲きの花が好きです.
とっても大きくなるので、鉢植えにしてます.
短く剪定してもまた成長してきます.
黄色い色が庭を明るくします.

ALLIUM TRIQUETRUM IN THE BLUEBELL GARDEN (ブルーベルガーデンのミツカドネギ)

Allium triquetrum came from the garden of our gardening friend two years ago.  It flowers in March with daffodils.  The cross section of its stem shows triangle shape, thus, it called 'triquetrum' (three corners) .  Its cluster consist of many long bell-shaped flowers.

Bluebell grows vigorously in the garden.
ブルーベルが元気に育っています.

ミツカドネギは2年前にガーデニング友達の庭からやってきました. 3月にラッパスイセンと一緒の頃に咲きます. 茎の断面が三角形をしていて、学名に三つの角という言葉がついています. たくさんの長い釣鐘型の花が房状になって咲きます.
