Arisaema ringens has started to grow its leaves,
while most of its red fruits remain uneaten in the shade garden.
Arisaema in a pot also grows leaves now.
It is commonly called Mamushi-Gusa because its characteristic 'mottled’ pattern of leaf sheath looks like Mamushi (a kind of pit viper in Japan).
