We made a raised bed for snowdrop and white muscari in the bluebell garden, and planted snowdrop bulbs in September. I once have heard a tradition of Scotland that the finder of a snowdrop before the first of January would be in luck all the coming year. Therefore, I delighted to find 'four' snowdrop flowers early in December.

ReplyDeleteI love to see snowdrops - they are one of my favourite flowers. Mine won't start growing until the end of December at the earliest. I hope you do have a lucky year in 2021.
