ROSES IN JANUARY (一月のバラ)

Today's photographs are rose flowers in our main garden.  

今日の写真はメインガーデンのバラの花たちです.

I am repairing the sleeper steps, 

some of them being restored (cavities are filled with mortal) 

and others being replaced with new ones I bought at the end of the last year.  

今、枕木の階段の修理をしていて、

一部は修復（空洞にモルタルを充填）し、他は年末に買った枕木と交換です.

'Scarborough Fair', 'Mary Rose' and 'Sky Lark' are now in bloom beside the steps, 

 'Angela' on the arch and 'Pat Austin' beside the brick wall.  

A cold air mass is now coming form Siberia, 

and it is becoming as cold as in average winter.  

枕木の階段の横では「スキャボロフェア」、「メアリーローズ」、そして「スカイラーク」、

アーチでは「アンジェラ」、レンガ塀では「パットオースチン」が咲いています.

寒気団がシベリアから来ていて

いつもの冬のように寒くなってきています.
