Today we planted foxglove seedlings. The temperature rose to 15°C during the day, making it feel like spring. We have already planted many foxglove seedlings in the potager and they are growing well, but this time we planted them in the central flower bed in the main garden. There is not much sun, so I decided to plant some foxglove, which grow well in semi-shade.
今日はジギタリスの苗の植付けをしました. 日中は気温が15℃まで上がって春のような天気でした. すでにポタジェにはたくさんのジギタリスの苗を植え付けて、かなり大きくそだってきていますが、今回はメインガーデンの中央花壇です. 日の当たる時間が短いので、半日陰でもよく育つジギタリスを少し植えることにしました.
I place the home-grown seedlings in the plastic pots where they will be planted. I chose the location based on what I imagined the seedlings would look like when they grew up and flowered. There were eight seedlings. The leaf colour of the seedlings suggests that most of them have white flowers.
ビニールポットに育てた自家製の苗を、植える場所に配置してみます. 大きく育って花が咲くときの状態を想像して場所を決めました. 苗は8個でした. 苗の葉色から、ほとんどは白い花をつける苗のようです.
The plant has been planted and watered. We hope they will bloom nicely around the time of the Open Garden in May.
植え終わって水をやった状態です. 五月のオープンガーデンの頃にうまく綺麗に咲いてくれることを願っています.
