October has arrived and the mornings and evenings are getting cooler and autumn is in full swing. The roses I pruned at the beginning of September are now starting to produce many buds. I expect many of them to be in bloom by the end of the month.
10月に入り朝晩はとても涼しくなってきて秋も本番です. 9月の上旬に剪定したバラたちがたくさんの蕾をつけ始めました. 今月下旬にはたくさん咲いてくると思います.
The foliage of the coleus is still brightly coloured, where the purple of the Mexican sage and the red of the cherry sage add a touch of glamour.
コリウスの葉はまだ鮮やかな色を呈していて、そこにアメジストセージの紫色とチェリーセージの赤が華やかさを演出しています.
In the blue border, dwarf buddleia and Salvia guaranitica continue to flower . The Jacaranda foliage is also very beautiful.
青のボーダーでは矮性ブッドレアやサルビアガラニチカが咲き続けています. ジャカランダの葉もとても綺麗です.
There was one frog in the bathtub pond. I'm a bit worried that it will eat the killifish.
バスタブの池に帰るが来ていました. メダカを食べないかちょっと心配です.
The persimmon fruits have started to change colour, so I picked a branch. The ripe ones are eaten as they are, while the hard ones are peeled and dried.
柿の実が色づいてきたので、一枝取ってみました. 完熟した実はそのまま食べ、まだ硬い実は皮をむいて干し柿にします.
