PLANTING SALVIA GUARANITICA IN A HERB BED (ハーブ畑にサルビア・ガラニチカの植え付け)

It was a cold day with some snow yesterday.

I had caught a cold and rested at home. 

My wife went down to the garden, and planted Salvia guaranitica in a herb bed. 

It died last summer because of a very hot and dry weather. 

That was the first time we experienced it. 

We also grow the salvia behind the trellis wall for several years, 

and my wife dug up some of roots (with tubers) and planted in the herb bed 

where it used to be grown.  

昨日は少し雪も降る寒い一日でした.
私は風邪を引いていて、家で休んでいました.
家内は庭に下りて、ハーブ畑にサルビア・ガラニチカを植えました.
去年の猛暑と少雨のために枯れたのですが、そんなことは初めてでした.
このサルビアはトレリスの裏側にも数年育てていて、
それで家内は少し地下茎（イモつき）を掘りあげて、
もともとこのサルビアが育っていたハーブ畑に植えました.
