Persicaria capitata, or pinkhead smartweed is flowering
on the roadside beside the potager.
It vigorously grows and spreads, therefore, it is suitable for ground cover.
It bears a number of small pink ball-shape flowers, and looks beautiful.
The flowers look like Japanese traditional candy 'Kompeito'.
However you must be careful when you grow it, because it is invasive.
We find it here and there in our garden:)
