RECOVERING WITH ARTIFICIAL GRASS (人工芝に張りかえ)

I often feel that it is difficult to maintain grass always beautiful.
We recovered natural grass of the patio in front of the gazebo
with artificial grass three years ago.
It is a good choice because artificial grass is durable, needn't care,
and never dies even if pots are on it.
Today, we recovered natural grass between the central bed and the peony bed
with artificial one. 

 芝をいつもきれいに保つのは難しいといつも思います.

3年前にはガゼボの前の芝生を人工芝に替えました.

人工芝は丈夫で、手入れが不要で、植木鉢を置いても枯れることもありません.
今日は、中央花壇とシャクヤクの花壇の間の芝を人工芝に張替えました.

At first grass was removed and the ground was made almost flat.

 まず、芝を剥いでおおむね平らにします.


Next, the ground was covered with sand absolutely flat by using a board.

 次に、地面に砂をまいて板で真っ平らにします.


Then we recovered the ground with non-woven polypropylene weed control fabric
 (DuPon Xavan).

 そして、地面に不織布の防草シート（デュポンのザバーン）を敷きます.


We cut artificial grass. The weed control fabric was used as a pattern.

 人工芝を切りますが、防草シートを型に使います.


And finally the ground was covered with the weed control fabric and artificial grass.

 そして防草シートと人工芝を張って完成です.


It looks neat and beautiful.

すっきりして綺麗に見えます.
