The typhoon was very strong, and the maximum wind was 31 m/s in our area. Our house and gardens face to the south-east, which means the wind brows maximally when it passes just west of us.
台風は強力で、最大風速は毎秒31メートルでした. うちの家と庭は南東向きで、すぐ西側を台風が通るときには風が最大になるのです.
Most of structures in our garden were intact, including a arbour seat and wooden louver fences. Ducks were also safe:)
庭のほとんどの構造物は、屋根付きベンチや木製のルーバーラティスも含めて、大丈夫でした. アヒルたちも無事でした(笑).
Dwarf tomato 'Tumbling Tom Red' is regrowing now in the terraced bed.
It bore lots of mini tomato fruits in June and July, and rested in August.

矮性トマトのタンブリングトムレッドが段々畑でまた茂ってきています. 6月から7月にたくさんのミニトマトの実をつけて、８月はお休みしていました. 花が咲いているのも写真でわかると思います.
The potager looks just like in the winter season. It's because I pruned most of new shoots of the espalier apple trees and roses, and most of stems of asparagus and dahlia in order to prevent damages by the typhoon.
ポタジェは冬のように見えます. それは台風による被害を防ぐため、垣根仕立てのリンゴやバラの新しい枝のほとんどを剪定して、アスパラガスやダリアの茎もほとんど切ってしまったからです.
