Salvia guaranitica bears deep blue flowers with black calyces.
We planted it in the blue border several years ago, and it flowers every year.
It usually grows chest-high.
Some stems of it in the border grow over the fence (8 feet high),
that makes it look like a climbing vine plant.
サルビア・ガラニチカは黒いガクに濃いブルーの花をつけます.
数年前にブルーボーダー(青色の花壇)に植えていて、毎年花が咲きます.
このサルビアはふつうは胸の高さぐらいまで伸びます.
花壇では高いものはフェンスの上まで伸び(2.4メートル)、
そのためつる性植物のように見えます.
