THE FIRST CROP OF BLUEBERRY (ブルーベリー最初の収穫)

I got up at 5:30 this morning. 

The sun didn't shine on the garden. 

I went hurriedly into the garden and started to harvest blueberry 

for the first time this season.  

Some of the berries have ripened, and harvested 400 grams. 

今朝は5時半に起きました.
まだ庭に日は射していません.
急いで庭に下りて今年はじめてのブルーベリーの収穫を始めました.
だいぶん熟してきていて、400グラムほどの収穫です.

5:30AM

When I started harvesting, I found a diamond shaped something.  

At first I didn't know what it was, however, I approached 

and I found that they were a pair of moths.  

Too perfect its shape was!

収穫を始めたとき、菱形の何者かに気づきました.

最初は何なのか分かりませんでしたが、近づいてみると

それが蛾のつがいと分かりました.

その形の何と完璧なことか！

When I finished harvesting, the sun had already started to shine on blueberry bushes. 

It's so hot and I was soaked with sweat. 

That's why I got up early this morning. 

Harvesting blueberries in our garden is best in the early morning.  

収穫が終わるころにはすでにブルーベリーの木に日が射し始めていました.

とても暑く、汗びっしょりになりました.

今朝早起きをしたのはこれが理由です.

我が家の庭でブルーベリーの収穫は早朝に限るのです.

We enjoyed eating blueberries raw for the first time in ten months

and felt that the mid-summer has come. 

10ヶ月ぶりにブルーベリーを生で頂いて楽しみ

本格的な夏の到来を感じました.
