It was in 2009 that we made terraced herb beds in our main garden.
Once the steps was located a little more west (right) side than now.
My wife made the steps in the middle of the garden
in January 2009 by using old railway sleepers.

In March we removed the old steps
and started to make terraced beds in April.

Concrete blocks were used to make foundation of bed frames,
and placed timbers mimicking railroad sleepers on the foundation.
