The coleus are starting to grow bright foliage.
The area after the central flower bed is now being used as a temporary place for potted plants.
Several species are in flower. The newest of these is the pineapple lily. It is a bulbous plant, which at this time of the year grows strangely shaped spikes of flowers and produces many small flowers. The name pineapple is used because of its shape.
The agapanthus and the chaste tree are still in flower all the time.
梅雨末期で時々強い雨が降る七月中旬のメインガーデン。
コリウスが鮮やかな葉を茂らせてきています。
中央花壇のあとは、今は仮に鉢植えの植物を置く場所として使っています。
何種類かの花が咲いています。その中でも特に新しいのは、パイナップルリリーです。球根性の植物で、この時期に不思議な形の花穂を伸ばしてたくさんの小花をつけます。その姿からパイナップルという名が使われているようです。
アガパンサスやセイヨウニンジンボクはずっと咲いています。
