In September 2014, white ginger lily (rear), white clematis (left) and white rose (Iceberg) were flowered. |
White flowers smell so sweet. |
As it has grown too thick, we had planed to divide and transplant it.
The border was too narrow to plant it with other plants, I decided to make it wider by using earth retaining timber planks.
In autumn ginger was cut short. |
So I went to the DIY store and bought timber planks (pressure-treated with preservative) and plastic posts.
After setting earth retaining timber planks with posts and filling it with soil, all white ginger was dug up, divided and re-planted there.
This is about one third of whole ginger. |
Finally, the planks were painted dark brown.

Planks were painted dark brown. |
White ginger was planted at the rear of the bed, and yellow canna was planted in the middle. At the front of the bed, white daffodils were planted.
