We found a huge Alocasia odora (giant upright elephant ear) with red fruits
on a seed pod in a wood
when we took a walk in our neighbourhood in October 2015.
I took the fruits and brought them back.
I searched how to sow the seeds, and I sew them into modules.
The module tray was placed at the window and heated by an electric foot warmer.

昨年の10月に近くを散歩していて、森の中に大きなクワズイモをみつけ
赤い実がついていました
その実を取って持ち帰りました
種のまきかたを調べてセルトレイにまき、窓辺において、
電気あんかで暖めました

The seeds germinated in a couple of weeks,
and the seedlings were transplanted into plastic pots.
種は2週間ほどで発芽して
苗はビニールポットに植え替えました

At the end of March, I transplanted the seedlings into larger terracotta pots,
and placed them outside.
