BUZZ OF BEES (ハナバチがブンブン)

I enjoyed reading a book at the arbour seat this afternoon.
I heard buzz of bees flying around echium flowers, and it made me so relaxed.
They were no sounds but buzz this afternoon.

 

 
今日の午後は屋根付きベンチで本を読んで楽しみました.
エキウムの花に飛び交うハナバチの羽音がしていて、とてもリラックスできました.
今日の午後は羽音以外はとても静かでした.

Bluebell flowers have started to bear seeds.
In order to grow bulbs well, we deadheaded bluebell today. 

 A pair of long-handled secateurs was useful to deadhead out-of-reach flowers.

 
ブルーベルの花に種が出来始めたので、
球根を太らすために、今日花がら摘みをしました.
長柄の剪定ばさみが手の届かない花がらを摘むのに便利でした.

After deadheading, flowers were bundled and hung upside down 

to make dry flower. 

ドライフラワーを作るために摘んだ花がらは束ねて

さかさまに吊りました.

CLEMATIS AND POPPY (クレマチスとポピー)

Clematis 'Shishinden' is in full bloom now at the upper iron arch with corn poppy.
Jasmine is still in bloom and it smells sweet.  

クレマチスの紫宸殿が満開でアーチでヒナゲシと一緒に咲いています.
ジャスミンもまだ咲いていて、甘く香っています.

PLANTING COLEUS (コリウス植え付け)

We took cuttings of Coleus 'Cherry Star' last December,
and had grown at the windowsill since that.
We planted it yesterday in a large terracotta pot,
because there is no possibility of frost any more. 

コリウスのチェリースターの挿し木を昨年末にして、
それからずっと窓辺で育てて大きくなりました.
霜の心配もなくなり、昨日庭の大きな鉢に植えました.

'What a wonderful day it had been.

I don't know if I've ever had such a happy day before.

If this was a dream, I didn't want to wake up any time soon.'

『何という素敵な一日だっただろう。

こんなに幸せな日が今まであっただろうか。

もしこれが夢なら、いつまでも覚めたくないと思った。』

ESPALIER APPLE (垣根仕立てのリンゴ)

Espalier apple is blooming in the potager.
There are four varieties;
Alpus Otome, Fuji, Tsugaru, and 'Maypole' Ballerina (crab apple). 

In the raised beds, California poppy looks stunning.
I picked two asparagus today.

垣根仕立てのリンゴがポタジェで咲いています
４つの品種があります、
アルプス乙女、フジ、ツガル、そしてメイポールバレリーナです
レイズドベッドではカリフォルニアポピーがきれいです
今日はアスパラガスを２本収穫しました

LET'S EXERCISE IN A YARD (お庭で運動しましょう)

We are all in a difficult situation now
and don't get enough exercise.
A light jogging in a back yard is a good and safe exercise. 

So, let's do it, and have fun with us!

今、すべての人が難しい状況にあります.
そして運動不足です.
裏庭で軽いジョギングは安全でいい運動です.

ERIGERON (エリゲロン)

Erigeron is an useful plant in gardening. 

It flowers almost all year round, 

and the flower looks so cute. 

Now it is beautifully flowering in the central raised bed. 

Beside it, peony bears many flower buds

in the peony bed and they flower in May.

エリゲロンはとてもガーデニングには有用な植物です.

ほとんど一年中咲いていて、花がとってもかわいいです.

今は中央花壇できれいに咲いています.

その横で、ピオニーの花壇ではシャクヤクがたくさん蕾をつけています.

五月に咲きます.
