Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus) is a deciduous shrub growing to 3 m by 3 m.
It bears blue flowers repeatedly in summer in our area.
We have already grown one in the blue border,
and cut it two-feet high above the ground in late autumn every year.
We planted another one at the center of the central raised bed last year,
and it is flowering now a bit earlier than that in the blue border.
セイヨウニンジンボクは落葉性の低木で高さと幅が3メートルほどになります.
うちの辺りでは夏の間繰り返し青い花を咲かせます.
うちではブルーボーダー花壇ですでに育てていて、
毎年晩秋に地面から60センチほどの高さで剪定をします.
昨年、中央花壇の真ん中にもう一つ植え付けたのが、
ブルーボーダー花壇のより一歩早く咲いています.

This shrub looks interesting, we need some shrubs that flower for the bacl of our borders, I may look into this one, thank you.

DeleteI really recommend this plant because it looks cool, and it is easy to control its width and height.
