Single gardenia is in full bloom in the Bluebell garden. The flowers are pure white when they first bloom, but gradually turn yellow and fall. The sweet fragrance is very strong and wafts through the air.
The berries have long been used as a yellow dye and for colouring food.
ブルーベルの庭で一重のクチナシが満開になっています. 花が咲き始めは真っ白ですが、次第に黄色くなって散ります. 甘い香りがとても強く、辺りに漂っています.
その実は昔から黄色の染料や料理の色付けに使われています.
