The heaviest rainfall of the rainy season has arrived and yesterday there was heavy rain in Kyushu Island. Our garden received 120mm of rain. By noon today the rain had stopped and I looked around the garden. I was relieved to see that there was no serious damage.
In the main garden, potato vine and chaste tree are starting to flower a little. The agapanthus is still beautiful.
The potager has not suffered any damage, the asparagus is growing thickly and the soybeans are also growing.
梅雨の最も大雨の降りやすい時期が来て、昨日は九州で大雨が降りました. 私たちの庭でも120ミリの雨が降りました. 今日のお昼ごろには雨も止んで、庭を見回りました. 大きな被害はなさそうで、ホッとしました.
メインガーデンではツルハナナスやセイヨウニンジンボクが少し咲き始めています. アガパンサスはまだ綺麗です.
ポタジェも特に被害はなく、アスパラガスが大きく茂り、大豆も育ってきています.
