The season for making dried persimmons has come again this year. The persimmon tree, which grew naturally in our garden as a seedling, has about 20 fruits this year, which are now starting to change colour.
I peel them, string them up two at a time and hang them on a sunny window sill. They are a very beautiful orange colour. They are ready in about a month. They say that if you sometimes massage them, they will become soft.
今年も干し柿づくりの季節がやってきました。実生で自然に庭に育った柿の木に、今年も20個ほどの実がついて、今色づいてきています。
皮をむいて、2個ずつひもでつないで、日の当たる窓辺に吊り下げます。とても綺麗なオレンジ色です。一か月ほどで出来上がりです。時々もみほぐすと軟らかく仕上がるそうです。
