This morning, water in a small fountain froze for the first time this winter.

Our amusement on a very cold day is making a fire and roasting sweet potatoes.
We burned well-dried pruned branches of our gardens in the barbecue
of the kitchen garden.
Sweet potatoes are wrapped in wet newspaper at first and then in tin foil.
It takes about an hour to cook in the vicinity of the fire.
We really love it,
and we shared it with neighbours.
