We planted seedlings of coleus 'Hot Beat' in a large pot in July and it is growing very well. It has beautiful brightly colored leaves and attractive blue-purple flowers.

Cherry sage has a lot of red flowers in the terraced herb bed.
チェリーセージはハーブ畑でたくさんの赤い花を咲かせています.
Beyond the cherry sage, the dogwood has still its green leaves. But it is beginning to change its branch colour from green to red, sensing the arrival of autumn.
チェリーセージの向こうではサンゴミズキがまだ緑の葉を茂らせています. でも秋の到来を感じて、その枝色を緑から赤に変化させ始めています.
If you pay attention to the branches, you can see that they are indeed reddish.
枝に注目してみると、確かに枝が赤みを帯びているのが分かります.
