Japanese apricot in the garden of Bluebell is beginning to bloom. The name of the variety is 'Kizanhaku' and it is often used for bonsai. It has been growing for about 8 years now. The petals are pure white and it bears fruits in summer. It started to bloom at the end of January this year and will be in full bloom in mid-February. At that time the bluebells will start to sprout a little.
ブルーベルの庭にある梅が咲き始めています. 品種名は貴山白といい、盆栽によく使われています. 苗を育て始めて8年ほどになります. 花弁は純白で、夏には実もつきます. 今年も1月の下旬に咲き始めて、2月中旬ごろに満開になりそうです. その頃には、ブルーベルもほんの少し芽を出し始めるでしょう.
